How to cancel Audible

✓ Last checked Oct 2026 against Audible’s official pages. See sources

Audible memberships are canceled on the Audible website under Membership details, unless you’re billed through Apple or Google. Use your credits first: Audible says unused credits are lost when you cancel.

Ways to cancel

Online
On audible.com, select your name, then Membership details, then Cancel membership, then Confirm cancellation.
Phone
Audible customer service: 1-888-283-5051.
App Store / Google Play
If you’re billed through Apple or Google, cancel in that store’s subscription settings.

Step by step

  1. Spend any remaining credits. Titles you get with credits are yours to keep.
  2. On the Audible website, select your name, then Membership details.
  3. Select Cancel membership, then Confirm cancellation.
  4. Look for the confirmation email and check that Membership details shows the change.

Watch out for

Whatever method you use, save proof: a confirmation number, email, screenshot, or certified mail receipt. Then check your next statement.
