How to cancel Tinder

Tinder subscriptions renew until you cancel, and you cancel through whichever platform you bought from. Your order number tells you which one: MK means Apple, GPA means Google Play, TNDR means tinder.com.

Ways to cancel

Apple (order # starts with MK)
Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions, then Tinder, then Cancel Subscription.
Google Play (order # starts with GPA)
Google Play app, then your profile icon, then Payments & Subscriptions, then Subscriptions, then Cancel subscription.
tinder.com (order # starts with TNDR)
Log in at tinder.com, tap your profile icon, select Manage Payment Account, then Cancel Subscription.

Step by step

  1. Find your order number in your receipt email to see who bills you.
  2. Cancel through Apple, Google Play, or tinder.com using the steps above.
  3. If you switched phones (for example, iPhone to Android), cancel on the old platform. Subscriptions don’t transfer.
  4. Screenshot the confirmation.

Watch out for

Whatever method you use, save proof: a confirmation number, email, screenshot, or certified mail receipt. Then check your next statement.
